This is a version of the Stroop task, first described in the 1930s. Reading is so automatic in literate adults that the written word interferes with naming the colour you can plainly see — and that interference is measurable in milliseconds.
Scores above roughly 30 in half a minute mean you're suppressing the reading reflex unusually well. Trying to blur your eyes slightly is a legitimate strategy and most fast players discover it on their own.
